Let’s get this day rolling. It’s the fifth day of my journey and Highlands seem so out of reach.. It’s time to take advantage of these English flat lands and get some serious mileage on the meter.

So I made my way towards Stourport on Severn, a beautiful little town with seemingly most complex barge docks maze, which I somehow managed to get into the centre of, and just couldn’t find my way out for about half an hour. It was very pretty though.
Naturally I called out my chopper again, to elevate me above the town so I could get my bear-ings and get on with my journey.

Having navigated myself out of town following the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal, I decided to get back onto National Cycle Network route..

Having not planned very well, I couldn’t find any campsites, so though I hate to disappoint you, tonight I’ll be staying in a B&B. But what a fitting place I found!
